DOLE and DAR Secretaries lead inspection of new DOLE Regional Office 1 building in Pangasinan
DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma and DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III have led the ocular inspection of the new building of DOLE Regional Office 1 in Rosales, Pangasinan on March 13. The new building, located in Brgy. Carmay, is expected to house the operations of the DOLE Regional Office 1 in Rosales and the entire Pangasinan.
The construction of the two-story building with a covered roof deck is set to be completed around July this year. The building has a total floor area of 606 square meters. Sec. Estrella, who was a former Pangasinan’s sixth district representative, pioneered for the establishment of the edifice years back.
The ocular inspection was also attended by DOLE Usec. Ciriaco Lagunzad III, Usec. Felipe Egargo Jr., OIC Usec. Dominique Rubia-Tutay, Asec. Warren Miclat, HRDS Director Brenalyn Peji, Rosales LGU officials led by Mayor William Cezar, and other officers.
Rosales, with its strategic location, is envisioned to become a hub of government services and economic activities. As such, the transfer of the DOLE RO1 in Rosales is now in the plans, according to sources.
The new building is expected to strengthen DOLE’s operations in the region, providing better services and assistance to the people. With the support of the DAR and other government agencies, the DOLE is looking forward to further improving its services to the public.
