PRISAP 1 Sportsfest: Private Schools Unite for Athletic Excellence

PRISAP 1 Sportsfest, a two-day event organized by the Private Schools Association of Pangasinan 1, was successfully held at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center on February 10 and 11. The sportsfest was participated in by around 50 private schools in the Pangasinan 1 Schools Division, and it aimed to provide school-based athletes from elementary to senior high school levels an opportunity to showcase their athletic skills. Some of the sporting events that were contested included athletics, basketball, volleyball, sepak-takraw, chess, and more.

One of the highlights of the sportsfest was the Search for Miss PRISAP 1, which brought excitement to the audience and showcased the beauty and grace of the candidates.

In a statement, Ms. Josefina Landingin-Soriano, the President of PRISAP 1, expressed her gratitude to the provincial government under the leadership of Governor Ramon Mon-Mon Guico III and the local government of Lingayen headed by Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil for their support in making the sportsfest possible.

The successful staging of the PRISAP 1 Sportsfest not only provided an avenue for young athletes to compete and showcase their talents but also served as a platform for camaraderie, sportsmanship, and teamwork among participants. Such events promote a healthy and active lifestyle while developing positive values and character traits that will be valuable in their future endeavors.
