UL Hosts Groundbreaking International Cybersecurity Conference in Dagupan, Draws Global Experts

DAGUPAN, PHILIPPINES – The University of Luzon (UL) made history on February 10, 2023 by successfully hosting the first international cybersecurity conference in Dagupan. The event brought together a diverse group of experts and industry professionals to share their knowledge and experiences on the crucial topic of cybersecurity.

Mayor Belen Fernandez was in attendance and praised the university for its efforts in staging the conference. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of cybersecurity in today’s rapidly digitalizing world and the role it plays in creating better communities through virtual platforms.

UL Director for International Relations Angel Samson Reyna Jr. served as the conference’s main organizer and was joined by a roster of distinguished speakers from various parts of the world, including Dubai, the United States, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand. The conference was also graced by representatives from the PLDT Group and a BPO company, adding further depth and breadth to the discussions.
