Urdaneta City Pickleball Venue DiNK Republik Adds Sessions for Every Night

Read Time:2 Minute, 54 Second

Urdaneta City now has a pickleball venue running open play seven nights a week, as the sport that has swept through Metro Manila and Cebu in recent years continues to spread into provincial cities in Luzon.

DiNK Republik, which describes itself on Facebook as “Urdaneta City’s Premier Pickleball Destination,” is located along Bypass Road in Barangay Sta. Lucia, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. In a recent Facebook post, the venue announced an expanded weekly schedule that now offers a session for every night of the week, plus new weekend and weekday daytime slots.

Under the new setup, evening open play runs from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., organized by skill level. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights are billed as “Newbie & Nice,” aimed at beginners. Tuesday and Thursday nights, called “Rec & Wreck,” are for intermediate players who already understand the basics of the game. Saturday and Sunday nights, under “Mix & Match,” are open to all skill levels playing together.

According to the post, only matches played during Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening sessions will count toward a player’s rank going forward. Games on the other nights are described as “pure play,” with no effect on a player’s rating.

The venue has also added two daytime sessions. “Dinksilog Open Play” runs Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, priced at ₱200 per player and including a silog meal, with a cap of 30 players. A second option, “Afternoon Delight,” runs Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at ₱150 per player, with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 players required to proceed.

The Facebook post also teased upcoming “DUPR Nights,” a reference to the Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating system used by players internationally to track their standing, though DiNK Republik has not yet released further details on the format or schedule for those sessions.

Part of a broader boom

DiNK Republik’s expansion mirrors a wider trend across the Philippines. The Philippine Pickleball Federation, the sport’s national governing body recognized by the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Olympic Committee, reported more than 200 registered clubs and over 13,000 registered members by 2025, with community leaders estimating more than 300 clubs operating nationwide. The federation was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Pasig, Metro Manila, and traces the sport’s introduction to the country to a clinic held in Cebu in February 2016.

Growth has been especially rapid over the past two years. Industry coverage in mid-2026 described pickleball as officially the fastest-growing sport in the Philippines for the year, with facility demand increasing by more than 300% since 2024. In Cebu, one operator alone recorded more than 2,300 completed court bookings in just a few months through 2026, a sign of how quickly demand has been outpacing supply in some cities. hutoglobal

Much of that growth has been concentrated in Metro Manila and nearby provinces, though the sport has been steadily reaching further into the regions. A pickleball club directory lists Dink Republik alongside other Pangasinan-based groups such as the Urdaneta City Pickleball Club, Bodega22 Sports Center in Pangasinan, and clubs in Dagupan, San Carlos, and Bayambang, indicating a growing cluster of dedicated pickleball spaces in the province.

Players interested in the schedule, rates, or booking details are advised to check DiNK Republik’s Facebook page directly, as pricing and session formats for recreational sports venues can change without notice.
