The Pangasinan provincial government has been advocating for sports development, especially among the youth. The governor aims to develop and elevate the skills and talents of the youth through participation in such competitions.
A total of 23 participating districts from Western and Central Pangasinan took part in the one-day event, which was organized by the DepEd Pangasinan Schools Division 1 in partnership with the provincial government and the Kiwanis Club of Progressive Pangasinan.
The event aimed to provide a platform for children with special needs to showcase their talents and compete in various sporting events. It was also an opportunity for them to meet and interact with other children and build new friendships.
Aside from the sports competitions, the event also featured the SPED Got Talent, a showcase of the participants’ talents in various fields such as singing, dancing, and acting.
The event was a success, and the organizers hope that it will inspire more children with special needs to participate in sports and other activities that can help them develop their skills and confidence.
