Gov. Guico Leads Social Assistance Distribution to Six Districts in Pangasinan
The government of the province of Pangasinan, under the leadership of Governor Ramon Mon-Mon Guico III, distributed social assistance to over a thousand residents from six districts in the province. The aid was intended to support medical and burial needs of the beneficiaries. The distribution took place at two venues: the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center in Lingayen and the Ramon V. Guico Gymnasium in Binalonan.
During his message, Governor Guico announced that the e-Konsulta Program was also launched in Umingan town. This program aims to digitize patient records and offer free medical consultation services. The governor also mentioned the partnership between the provincial government and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) in building affordable socialized housing for residents.
Vice Governor Mark Lambino stated that the provincial government remains committed to finding permanent solutions to the health, employment, and livelihood problems of the people.
The program was attended by local government officials, including Binalonan Mayor Ramon Ronald V. Guico IV, 6th District Political Affairs Officer Rebecca Saldivar, 5th District Political Affairs Officer Jesus “Isong” Basco, former Calasiao Mayor Mark Roy Macanlalay, San Fabian Councilor Kim Bandarlipe, Laoac Councilor Benedict Estibal Lopena, former Manaoag Councilor Ramon “Jun-Jun” Bautista Jr, Barangay Chairman Ritchie Abalos, PSWDO Annabel T. Roque, and OIC-PESO Manager Richelle Raguindin.
The social assistance program is part of the provincial government’s efforts to address the needs of its constituents, especially during these challenging times. The government hopes that this assistance will help alleviate the burden of those who are struggling to make ends meet.
